52  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Zombie Chicken for Easter on: July 02, 2012 09:58:55 AM

Using this pattern http://irkachan.blogspot.com/2009/05/que-fue-primero.html (scroll down for English), I created zombie chicken. Although the plan was to create a whole army of them, I only made one and it ended up in a friend's son's Easter Basket. You can see the brains in the head, the bones showing through the wing, and the insides oozing out the side....The son LOVED him!

unfortunately, sMsZombieElbis is going to have to wait to join us next round, because of the one month/15 posts rule Sad

Aww...that's too bad. Sad  I totally understand why that rule is in place, but waiting out the first month is such a tease.

It's sooo horrible! LOL....my fault, I shouldn't have lurked the site for so long before signing up...I am however completely stalking this topic, and can't wait to see the gallery!
55  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Glowy Jellyfish on: June 27, 2012 07:27:04 PM
I just started embroidering too! So I totally feel how difficult this was and it is amazing! AND I IN LOVE WITH the GLOW in the DARK thread....must have...must have...must have...it was an awesome touch!
56  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Personalized Amigurimi on: June 27, 2012 07:22:22 PM
My boyfriends favorite bartender is very memorable, from his crazy red/orange hair to his tattoos, and one day , for no apparent reason, I decided to crochet him a "mini me". I love how he turned out! I used embroidery thread to do his tattoos (not all of them, just enough to personalize it). The basic shape is from "creepy crochet", and i just altered as necessary. Frankly they were both a little weirded out by the present, but they both agree it was AWESOME! My boyfriend is demanding one now....

57  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: My epic set of 12 Sailor Jerry tattoo napkins is complete!! on: June 27, 2012 07:21:46 PM
I know this is an old thread, but hello! I love sailor jerry style, and these are awesome! I can't believe you let people use them! I would have them locked up behind glass. It would be like those bathroom guest towels that no one is supposed to actually use!!
58  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: The Mermaid Lady! Coming soon to your town! on: June 27, 2012 07:20:54 PM
I know this is an OLD thread, but I love this so much I had to say something. i am obsessed with side show things, and with traditional tattoo styles, so this is a win win for me! the stitch you chose to do the scales in in perfect and the colors go amazing. I can see all your hard work in this and it is really incredible!
