2  Texas / Texas: Central / Re: San Antonio peeps? on: June 23, 2012 10:24:28 AM
anyone in San Antonio might think to look in the quilt shops, I looked in one and found they do have some of the stuff for needle work. From plastic canvas and fabric to the needles and patterns. You never know until you take a look at your quilt shops. Happy hunting ladies.

:)thanks for the tip of how to make the transfers alot cheaper to do. It makes it easier to stitch something knowing you don't have to pay too much to do it. Smiley
4  Texas / Texas: Central / Re: Yarn shops in Waco on: June 22, 2012 09:29:35 PM
I'm planning to move to waco, I live in Walnut Springs. I feel like it's the ghost town from never never land .(being soft on words) lol.
anyways , I am a crafter too . I do plastic canvas and cross stitch and I found in ....hobby lobby this loom the kids can get that they used to sell in my days and I'm trying to remember how to do it. Right now I'm trying to do better with crocheting too. I've thought to leave knitting till I get the hang of crocheting. Tongue  boy it feels like I get too much on my list of "to finish" I have way to many projects to finish and never the right yarn.

Grin it is very much like plastic canvas in fact to me it's a mixture of regular mesh canvas and plastic because of the holes Smiley Just think of all the things you can make with it. Great project and thanks for sharing the knowledge of Perforated canvas with everyone Smiley
6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello From Central Texas on: June 22, 2012 08:43:19 PM
Hello I'm sweetstitch and I hope everyone is having a good summer. I hope to share and work on ideas you and I have. I'm considering taking along my craftwork that I can do the work with on a Ipod touch. I first have to get the ipod touch lol. but still I am hoping to share with everyone how that works. I don't do much of the crafting for there's not many that like this sort of thing Sad. I'm hoping in the future that changes. It's got many uses like the knitting, crocheting and whatnot crafts. Can't wait to make new friends.
