1  Celtic Knot applique coin purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Cat-n-Caboodle on: February 10, 2006 05:50:18 PM
Here is the coin purse I made for the recent Fill a Coin Purse Round 3 swap (photo is not too good - but here it is anyway.

I basically traced the design onto Vliesofix, ironed it on to the black fabric and cut it out.  Cutting out the holes was a pain!  I then ironed it onto the denim and machined stitched around the edges.

I was really pleased with how the design turned out

Thanks for posting the pictures Muguet!   I am so glad that you finally received the stuff I sent you.

Here are pictures of what I sent to muguet...

Celtic Knot appliqued coin purse

Stitch markers (I am not a knitter so I hope these were okay!)

Flower pin

There was also a lizard keyring (not made by me...handmade in Africa), some Australian Coins, some notecards.  (I forgot to take a photo of it all together)

3  Re: the 2006 wishlist gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Cat-n-Caboodle on: January 25, 2006 04:27:09 AM
Today I received a wonderful package from VW69 - thankyou so much for the beautiful marble magnets that you sent me and the other special surprises as well.

I received a set of 8 Marble magnets - 6 butterflies and 2 flowers - which will take pride of place on my new whiteboard, (they were also packed beautifully in a gorgeous little box)

I also was lucky enough to receive two surprises in the package...a beautiful little journal and a sheet of pretty butterfly stickers.  Here is a photo of the whole lot

Thankyou again VW69 - the package made my day!!  Smiley

5  Re: `*Bag & Bracelet Swap*` Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Cat-n-Caboodle on: August 03, 2005 02:18:05 AM
I received my package from Isolation today....and let me tell you it was worth the wait!  Smiley  Thankyou so much Isolation you did a beautiful job of making the bag and the bracelet.  Anyway here are the pictures but I don't think they do them justice.

Firstly the bracelet which I adore...it is delicate yet chunky...it will be a definite favourite

The contents of the bag...I was lucky to receive a beautiful little book/journal to go with my bag...I think that too was handmade

The bag itself which is made from the softest black corduroy which I love!  The lining is a really sweet white with pink dots.

A close-up of the zip pocket and lining

Thankyou so much for making my first swap such a great experience!  I am sure I will get lots of use out of the bag.

Thankyou also Krafty-Kritter for all your hard work organising this swap

6  Small country tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Cat-n-Caboodle on: June 04, 2005 08:36:59 PM
I made this bag with a pattern from Picklemouse Corner in Australia.  It was very simple, similar to the Jordy Bag as it has a square bottom.  I had fun making it...was my first completed bag.

7  First Bracelets and necklace with wire and beads in Beads: Completed Projects by Cat-n-Caboodle on: June 04, 2005 08:32:32 PM
After resisting the lure of beads and wire I could resist it no more.  Here are the first things I made.

Purple bracelet made from a kit (from the Bead Company, Australia)

then I made this one...my take on it with different beads

I also made this necklace with crochet wire and beads

Anyway it's a start and I now find I want to create and design more.
