1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / Re: Which machine? on: June 19, 2012 06:01:26 PM
I have the Singer SEQS-6000. I load free & purchased designs from that site almost daily..tee hee.  I like the SEQS because it accepts almost all embroidery file types. I havent found a design yet that I wasn't able to download and edit.

Threadworks is an ok one.  Its totally free. A little bit of a learning curve but for free its pretty good.

3  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / Re: Singer XL 400? on: June 19, 2012 05:54:17 PM
I have the SEQS 6000.  Its actually the same machine as the XL-400 with the addtional editing software...which I highly recomend. I've had mine almost 3 months now and I love it.  If I had to say something I wish it had it would be a 5x7 hoop. It comes with a 4x4 & and a 6x10, which you can use to multi-hoop to do even larger projects, which is very cool.  But a 5x7 would be great for those mid-sized projects.
