1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Affordable Web Design company or designers? on: August 15, 2009 09:16:36 AM
Hi There,

I've been searching through the forums to find any affordable web design companies or designers. And I haven't had much luck.
I am looking for someone who can create a website layout that includes a shopping cart and a blog. I would also need a logo design as well.

I have tried to make my website, by teaching myself html, and css.. but still I have been unable to create a professional website. I spent so much time, that I feel was wasted and I think its better if I just hire someone.

So far I have researched a couple of companies: http://www.purrdesign.com/, http://www.aeolidia.com/ and http://www.squidlimbs.com. Even though the first two are very very professional and have received some great feedback, they are just really out of my budget right now. I'm currently attending college... so that doesn't really leave me that much money to spend on a web design. However for squidlimbs, I found them via etsy first, are very affordable and looks quite professional. But i'm just not sure if i want a website using wordpress, especially since I already have two other blogs elsewhere.

Any recommendations at all would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Kelly

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Black Buttoned down shirt dress. on: December 05, 2008 11:09:49 AM
Hello,

Wow it's been a while since I've been on craftster. So here is my dress that I made with my own pattern for the first time. I made it for my Apparel Design 1 class. It was really stressful but I'm so happy with the results. I've decided to call it the Victoria Dress... b/c when we were presenting we made up names for our dresses haha.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Kelly
