1  Black Buttoned down shirt dress. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by notsonicesushi on: December 05, 2008 11:09:49 AM
Hello,

Wow it's been a while since I've been on craftster. So here is my dress that I made with my own pattern for the first time. I made it for my Apparel Design 1 class. It was really stressful but I'm so happy with the results. I've decided to call it the Victoria Dress... b/c when we were presenting we made up names for our dresses haha.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Kelly

I just finished this dress yesterday. It's made from jersey, and I crocheted the magenta collar. It was my first time making a dress. I had a blast.

7  First ever tank topp!! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by notsonicesushi on: June 28, 2007 02:18:44 PM

So I don't like patterns/ i dont really know/understand them. lol. But anyways I decided to use a dressform, and i made a pattern out of muslin first. Then I used it and sewed it up. It's not very well done, but I'm happy that I actually made it!!

Thanks for looking!

Hello ,
I did my first screenprint yesterday using the mod-podge method. It was alot easier than i thought.. i kept wanting to try screenprinting but never got around to it. I'm glad I did because it turned out great!

I used an old t-shirt, and scrap denim to make the rest. I love it! O and it's a gift for my friend's birthday. I hope she likes it!!

Thanks for looking.
