131  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Transylvania High Class of 2013 on: September 02, 2012 11:51:21 PM
A vampire's high school yearbook photo.  I tried to do this in anime style and originally set out to draw something else.  Funny how this turned into a teenaged vampire girl that looks like she is posing for a yearbook photo.
Made with distress inks and gel pen outline

Zeus Bigelow.  When this lusty god of sky and thunder isn't chasing after mortal women he likes to throw lightning bolts down from the sky

This one is very special to me.  I made it in the style of most of my other ATCs.  This is my 19 month old son, Damon, with his two beloved toys Bee Buddy and Lambo.  Bee Buddy is a bumblebee pillowpet and Lambo is a stuffed sheep.

Yes I do plan to frame her. I want to find a nice background paper to attach her to, then frame.

All I do for mine is spray on some clear acrylic spray.  It isn't shiny at all.

I really like your self portrait.  It is amazing!

Kitsune has perfected the art of killing you softly.
This is gel pen on acid free sketchbook paper.  I think this is beautiful.  But those legs were so hard for me to draw.  I spent a ridiculous amount of time on them and am still not really satisfied with how they look.

I think these are adorable.  I would love to receive one is a swap.  The second one especially, with the cauldron.

I really like it
140  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / The Siren's stare on: August 30, 2012 06:58:35 PM
Worked on this sketch for two days.  I decided to paint it and hoped I didn't ruin the sketch.  Painted with acrylic paint, distress inks and gel pen.  I think it didn't turn out half bad for a painting made from sketch book paper.
