1  Doctor Who - 10th Doctor coat in Costumes: Completed Projects by feltdragonpound on: July 25, 2012 05:15:55 PM
Hi, this is my first post in this community (a great community).

I love Doctor Who and the 10th Doctor.  Grin

And, these days, looking for a coat, I have the idea of make one by my own. And the model, of course, is the model of the 10th Doctor coat.

This is the pic of the finished model:


No, I don't have a picture of me using this coat yet.  Undecided

The pattern I drew by hand, seeing a lot of episodes, then shaped first with a cheap fabric (called TNT). Picture of the proccess:


For the coat I used faux-suede and satin, and I never, never sewed a clothe like that, only plush dragons.

It took me twenty days to complete the project. There were many sleepless nights and fingers stuck by needles, but worth it.
