1  Wedding hair ribbon help? in Weddings and Bridal Showers by beatlebird125 on: May 08, 2006 09:01:12 PM
Hi everyone, this is my first post so I apologize in advance for any mistakes I make.

I found this picture of a hair ribbon that I'd really like to make for my wedding next october.  Here it is:

My mother has these really beautiful antique butterfly hair pins, so my idea was to use that and a piece of the fabric from the dress (actually, from this ugly matching jacket that I want to alter into a shawl) instead of the flower.  Any ideas on the kind of ribbon I should use?  How to put the whole thing together?  Other ideas for the flower piece?

Again, sorry if I messed anything up...thanks!
