kittykill- I have no problem with my hoop being shared if you decide to use it

Mel- I love the story behind your hoop and it's so pretty.

Thanks for all the nice words guys *blush*

I love what everyone has done so far. I showed my oldest the gnome and he said that my hoop would have been cooler if i had done that one instead... gotta love kids!

I made this hoop for the monthly hoopla-along. A tiny bit of foul language.
I have a sick obsession with bats and my favorite saying just happens to be bat-shit-crazy. I work in a pharmacy, so I get to use this saying on a daily basis and my co-workers crack up every time. So this is what I came up with. It was a quick stitchup and the first piece I have finished in a long time (I have about 7 half finished projects going on right now).

15  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Stitchalongs / Re: Big Project Stitch Along 2013 on: April 23, 2013 08:19:41 PM
I'm in again. Working on the same piece as last year, the steampunk girl. I'll post an update pic soon. I put it down for a while and was working on other smaller projects (none of which I have finish yet...) but now I'm back at it and hope to have it finish by August.

I thought I'd try my had at making a rosary since I think they are so beautiful, but I wanted something with a little twist.
Here it is.

20  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / reservoir dogs ear on: October 06, 2012 02:00:54 PM
I was kicking back, enjoying the radio when stealers wheels came on with stuck in the middle with you. It is hard to listen to that song and not think of the ear scene from reservoir dogs. Quentin Tarantino has an amazing talent for picking songs for his movies. Anyway, while listening to that song today I was struck with inspiration to create this.

Keep in mind, it has been nearly 10 years since I've tried to draw anything other than smiley faces and stick figures for the kids. All-in-all I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
