2  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Indiana Jones Swap Signups June 16-July 3rd, Sendout July 31st on: July 28, 2006 03:09:12 PM
IMDB has Indy 4 slated for summer 2008, Indyfan.com has it potentially coming out 2007. I for one say there is absolutely no way it's coming out sooner than 2008.

WAAA! i missed the sign up (by a long shot!)....sniffle.

i am the hugest indy fan, and i'm looking very forward to seeing everyone's work. As a small (and very late) contribution to the swap, i'd like to include the following links in case someone gets "crafters' block".

6  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / CANADA / Re: Go West young crafter! (Roadtrip) on: May 27, 2005 03:52:55 PM
When you're in Winnipeg, stop by the Exchange District. - tons of thrift and vintage shops on the west side of Main St. I usually visit the second hand stores on McDermot (right next to Main), but there are many treasures to be found in this entire area. Be sure to check out Toad Hall Toys on King St as well!!

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: easy embroidered pillowcases for resting my lazy head on: May 20, 2005 03:33:53 PM
i love the simplicity in the execution of the project and the design you chose. i also like the rawness of the stitches up close. very elegant!!
8  CANADA / Manitoba / Re: MANITOBA. Anything? on: May 05, 2005 11:45:57 AM
Depends on what you are looking for. For supplies, i love to visit the many thrift stores (we have an awesome virtually untapped supply of cheap midcentury modern stuff) and the ReStore http://www.habitat.mb.ca/restore.html. of course there's lewis craft and michael's too.

probably the best place for viewing other people's crafts would be artspace in the exchange district, and the farmer's markets in and around town during the summer months.
