21  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / sharpie tie dyed socks on: March 29, 2008 04:08:36 PM
Not really sure if this goes here. Feel free to move it if needed. Smiley
I saw a website on tie dyeing your socks with sharpies and just had to try it out. The only downside is that my fingertips are also tie dyed.  Embarrassed
22  COOKING / Dessert / easter bunny cake on: March 26, 2008 06:26:04 PM

I made this for dessert for after easter dinner. Nobody wanted to eat him because he was too cute.
23  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Wallet from pants on: March 08, 2008 05:19:02 PM
Ripped up some nice pants by throwing them in the washer.  Roll Eyes
Made me a little wallet from a bit of them, might try to make another from some more of it, this one turned out a bit wonky.

24  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Little boy's skeleton pants on: March 08, 2008 04:36:03 PM
I had some leftover fabric but not enough to make a normal sized person some pants so I thought maybe I'd make some for my 8 year old stepson.
25  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Fake dread things on: March 08, 2008 12:23:39 PM
I just used some bernat max in black and blue because I thought it looked like dreads and I got some for my birthday.

Having some issues with getting them to stay put in my hair and hiding my hair under them. I tried the two buns but i look like a silly ragdoll with them sitting in that fashion.
26  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / bathroom fish mural on: March 07, 2008 09:04:24 PM
Right when I moved in I painted this in our bathroom as something to do until I moved my stuff over.  Grin Since then my whole bathroom has become fishy themed.

27  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Sewn bathroom organizer on: March 07, 2008 08:33:25 PM
Sooo, when we moved in there was no medicine cabinet to stash the usual things, and things just tended to pile up around the sink. Which I thought looked pretty messy. I just simply sewed this together from a little bit of scrap fabric from my stash, it's pretty basic, and I just tacked it up, but it does the job.

28  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / white shirt with gathered top on: March 03, 2008 06:52:11 PM
This matched my new pants that I made yesterday. I should get a pic of them together I guess.http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=231237.0
It's made from a white satinish fabric  I forget what kind because it was hanging around too long. It has a bead trim, a white lacy goldfish appliqued on the right side and the top is just gathered with a bit of fuzzy black yarn. This was very simple to make.

29  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / green corduroy and skeletons on: March 03, 2008 08:31:36 AM
Hello ! Wink
I made these pants last night from scraps of corduroy I had thought I couldn't do much with because it was just a long strip but i cut it into shorter strips and combined with some skeleton print fabric and voila! pants! I also added some pockets on this pair that I like a lot because they're roomy and I usually mess up pockets.

Please excuse the mess.  Embarrassed
30  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / cherry blossom pendant on: March 02, 2008 06:38:13 PM
I just made a little rectangle with indentation in the front out of clay. After it was baked I used sharpies to color it, then sealed with a faux latex clear finish stuff I got to put on a mural on my bathroom wall. When that was dry I poured some resin in the indentation where the cherry blossoms are. I just strung it on fishing line as I don't have many options on hand.

A drunk girl at a party liked it anyway.  Roll Eyes
