1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Spoon Pendant Dragonfly and Daisy flowers on: September 18, 2012 05:16:50 AM

This is another one of my favorites. I hand etched the dragonfly and daisy flowers then I painted it. I then wire wrapped it and added a red bead at the top. I'm still working on my metal etch work and painting but I like it so for. I still have a long way to go in learning how to do all of this. I wish there was a better way of adding the color to the metal. I painted it using a small brush but my hand is not all that steady lol. I am still playing around with this whole process. I'm loving it and having so much fun. I hope you like it. ^_^
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My first Hand Etched Spoon Pendant ^_^ on: September 14, 2012 07:46:57 PM

I always wanted to hand etch metal with my Dremel but until now I didn't know how to do it or what metal to use. I normally etch on glass but recently I noticed that spoon jewelry has become very popular so I thought it would be a great idea to etch and paint on the spoons. I looked and I looked and I looked but I could not find any one who was etching spoons with a Dremel so I wasn't sure if it could be done. So I thought I am am just going to try to etch a spoon and see what turns out. I will admit it was scary lol because etching metal with a Dremel is not like etching glass. It is a little more challenging and my heart was beating fast. My first few pieces turned out pretty good then I made this one and I looooove it ^_^ Now that I know what to expect and I still have all my fingers I can't wait to make more. I hope you like it ^_^
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / My First time working with Porcelain Clay ^_^ on: August 28, 2012 02:28:29 PM

These are my new wire wrapped hand etched porcelain clay pendants. I just made them. I never worked with porcelain clay before and I thought it would be fun to try it out. I made the clay, etched it with a Dremel (lol I love my Dremel), painted it, glazed it and then wire wrapped it. I didn't know how it would turn out at all. I like it. Please tell me what you think of them ^_^
4  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Hand Etched Wine Bottle Luminary - Humming Bird Water Fall on: May 31, 2012 09:06:18 PM
This is a hand etched wine bottle luminary of a humming bird and waterfall. I hand etched the wine bottle using only a Dremel and I used a ice and candle method to cut the bottle. I love the way the candle shines in the bottle.
I taught myself how to hand etch using a Dremel a year ago and I love making hand etched wine bottle luminaries and Incense burners. Each piece is unique ^_^

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wire Wrapped Agate Geode Seahorse Pendant on: May 31, 2012 08:25:25 PM
This is my very first wire wrapped Agate Geode slice. I never did anything like this before and it's one of my all time favorite pieces. I had a lot of geode slices laying around and I wanted to do something with them and I got a idea to turn them into wire wrapped seahorses. Easier said then done lol. It took me over 2 hours to make this one but I like the way it turned out. It was very fun to make.

6  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Hand Etched Wine bottle Luminary - Flower and Bird on: May 29, 2012 12:31:21 AM
This is my hand etched wine bottle luminary. I hand etched flowers and a bird on the wine bottle using only a Dremel. I cut the wine bottle using a ice and candle method that I seen done on Youtube. I love doing creative and unique things and so I taught myself how to etch wine bottles. I love making luminaries because I looooove the way the candle light shines through the bottle. It very pretty and relaxing ^_^

7  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Hand Etched Wine Bottle Incense burner ^_^ on: May 28, 2012 01:37:33 AM
This is my hand etched wine bottle incense burner- Peacock. I love this incense burner. It is one of the first few etches that I made. I taught myself how to hand etch glass using only a Dremel less then a year ago. I seen a very few people online do hand etched glass and I thought why not give it a try? After practicing for a short time I got the idea to make hand etched wine bottle incense burners and luminaries. It has been a wild ride and I am having so much fun doing this. I just had to share ^_^
