1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Reupholstering Chaise Lounge, HELP! on: May 25, 2012 01:25:54 PM
I found an old chaise lounge at a yard sale. I have everything I need to reupholster it, but I have never done anything like this before. So I am having some trouble. The sofa has HUGE springs in it and they are still working great. Heres my problem...I've sort of halfway covered it to see what it would look like and make sure we like it. But when we sit on it, it really sinks in a lot. Not too much for comfort...its super comfortable. But when we sit and it sinks in, the fabric on the sides gives.  So when we are sitting its like fabric just hangs there. Anyone have a clever way of fixing this problem? Let me know if I need to post a picture to make it easier to understand! Thanks! BTW I have already put foam and batting over it.
