After i finish my friend's pretty little blue socks, count me in.  They would be just cute for those semi-cold days when you wanna wear flip-flops.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knitting Dora's "Backpack" on: June 02, 2005 01:07:21 PM
hi,  My brother loves the show "Dora the Explorer".  He wants me to knit him "Backpack."  I was going to use the Punk Rock Backpack in SnB, but does anyone know if there's an intarsia chart out there for Backpack's face?  If i cant find it I guess i will explore the field of making my own.

                Thanks

picking on students for bringing perfectly legit knitting supplies and other "potential weapons."  Bunson burners & compasses (sp?), not to mention the chemicals in lab classes, can do far more damage than bamboo sticks.  And what about the forks in the cafeteria? And pencils, too. Hmm....

Yeah I agree.  But in the district my school's in we arent allowed to have forks.  We have plastic spoons and eat finger food.  Compasses arent even allowed ing school.  It's crazy
