Hiiii

It seems like almost everyone sent out their envelopes, I only have to hear from bkrenning4, but perhaps she's out of town. I hope to hear from her the next days. Edited: I just got a message from her and she sending out today or tomorrow.

Ohhh I received a envelope full of vintage stuff from clayfaery and i love it!!
As soon as i find the battery cord from my camera, i'll post pictures.

Fluffernutters... what's that? My candy dictionary is expanding rapidly...

My Dutch friend lives in Belfeld.... is it true that everyone else in the Netherlands think the Dutch in the South are crazy because of all their wacky celebrations?

Hehehe wacky celebrations? Ohhh that must be Carnaval. I don't think they are crazy. Anyone who wants to party three days long, can't be wrong  Cheesy!!  But there is some difference between the Dutch below and above the rivers. Generally people think they are more gezellig (i don't know the english word, it means something like, nice, outgoing, friendly) then the people in the north.

I'm game for whatever is decided!  I trade with other countries or other US follks!  I just like the anticipation of a package in the mail and then the "Christmas morning" excitement when I finally get it!!  And like some of the other, if you want anything for the US (and/or Oklahoma), just PM me!

*duifje, I am the Kool-Aid queen around here, so if you want some, holler!!  Did you know there is new clear Kool-Aid?  It tastes like the regular but doesn't stain the rug when I spill it!!

Ah Yes!!! I love the clear KoolAid--- no guilty little devil-horn 'stache either!!!  (The raspberry one is rockin!)  Though I'd imagine it wouldn't dye anything... LOL

Hehehehe that were my thoughts exactly. Although i'd like to try it for tasting.

duifje, the only Dutch I know is from Sinterklaas songs my mother taught me.  When I was a kid I loved that I got an extra "early Christmas".  Cheesy  Now I've been teaching my Persian boyfriend about it, and his response was "any holiday where you put candy in my shoes is okay with me!"

The timing of this swap might not work out for me (I'm freelance and my current job is coming to an end soon) -- so maybe we could do a one-on-one swap in November when more holiday stuff is available?

Hehehe then of course you know: Sinterklaas Kapoentje gooi wat in mijn schoentje. And i totally agree with your boyfriend, candy is always good in whatever way it comes to you...
A one-on-one swap in  november is okay with me  Cheesy

It looks like there are some Americanos that wouldn't mind exchanging local goodies with each other.
Besides, some of us Euro-trashies (Wink) seem to be able to send more than one package.

Yeah, this is totally like Christmas. Cheesy

I'd love to send more packages! And if it comes to it, i don't mind swapping with americans only, not at all  Cheesy.
My USA-wishlist keeps getting longer and longer... from Kool Aid to mix for brownies to TastyKakes to Marshmellow Fluff and posters with all kinds of vintage stuff on it and license plates and and and...

Yes like Christmas! Although over here we generally don't give presents with Christmas, we exchange presents at Sinterklaas, December 5th. But nowadays there are more and more people who give their presents with Christmas. Ohhh more to ad to my wishlist: Christmas stockings!!!

Hehehe Nijntje isn't a he, it's a she-rabbit. I had discussions about this with my friends  Cheesy and finally we read somewhere that Nijntje is a she.

Oh jumping on an airplane and travel everywhere... i want it too!

you like them?
i have like 5 pairs heehee
i guess they are very popular nowadays.
there's a great variety of them here... HARD to choose one.

Yes i love them. They're looking good & and i can walk all day on them! My brother brought me a pair (yellow, blue and green, the Brasil Havaianas, i presume) from Brasil and now i want more of them. I also want 5 pairs!!!! (hehehe or even more)Cheesy But they are hard to get and quite expensive over here.

I wonder if we could have more than one partner?  I sure don't mind mailing Oklahoma/USA stuff to whoever wants it...I just want cool stuff in return!!   Grin  And from all the replies- there is cool stuff EVERYWHERE!!!  (I dig that little bunny from the Netherlands!!)

I totally agree with you!

Hehehe we have so much Nijntje stuff (the little bunny) over here in the Netherlands. Even cookies!

i agree, i'd love to have multiple partners.

now that sounds dirty.

a multiple partners swap  Grin
