1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Resizing a pea coat on: January 30, 2005 06:18:24 PM
Hi!

I have 2 coats I received from my Grandmother, one is pea coat, the other, an older faux suede barn jacket.  They both need to be resized down about 2 sizes.  I am a size 8 and they fit like a 12.  Any suggestions for resizing would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Heather
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Easy Christmas treats on: November 14, 2004 08:54:34 AM
I try to make a small crafty treat every Christmas for friends and those I work with - I have made candy cane reindeers in the past but would like to try something different this year.  A friend of mine suggested glass balls with popcorn in them.  Any more ideas?

Thanks  Smiley

4  COOKING / Dessert / Halloween Cake on: October 03, 2004 09:50:27 AM
Hi Smiley

I am hoping to create a Halloween cake consisting of a headstone with a head and hand coming out of it.  The hand is the only part I am having trouble coming up with.  Maybe Marzipan or sculpted cake?  Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks,
HeatherB
5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Sewing with contact paper? on: July 08, 2004 06:05:24 PM
Hi!

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with sewing with contact paper (or MacTac) on fabric.  I would like to make a dustproof cover for my printer and scanner.  I know that sticky plastic is available especially for fabric but it is rather pricey so am hoping I can find an alternative.

Thanks  Smiley
