definitely don't stir longer than 3 minutes.  You could have painted the background black, too ...

to anyone who actually reads this far, let me tell you that you do *NOT* need to glue your bottle caps down first.  Just pour a very thin layer of epoxy over the arranged caps and let that set.

Two other things:
I actually used a hole puncher to put holes in the cans.  So that was pretty easy.

The spools of thread are on short pieces of a wooden dowel, inserted into the pegboard and secured with wood glue.  That way you can put up a bunch of spools without having to buy pegboard attachments.

You're welcome!  Also,  I bought a pegboard set off of ebay, which was WAYYYYY cheaper than buying each piece individually at the hardware store:

Thanks!  The containers holding the markers, pens, chalk, etc are tin cans.  I threaded some zip ties from behind the pegboard into the holes before the pegboard was installed.  Then, I drilled a couple holes next to each other near the top of the tin can, corresponding to where the zip ties were.  I attached the zip ties inside the cans (I only ended up using the top zip tie).  I covered the cans with scrapbook paper.  I took a picture to show you.

Just wanted to share pictures of my craft room.  It may provide some ideas or inspiration for others!

I used doors that people left at the curb for the garbage pickup as desks.  I used pipe from Home Depot inserted into metal toilet flanges as legs for the tables.  I bought clear sheets of acrylic on top of the doors as table tops.

The purple table is waist-high, so it's great for gift wrapping or cutting fabric ... activities you don't want to do sitting down.

[I share this room with cats, unfortunately ... hence the cat scratching tree and litterbox!]

The sewing zone ... spools of thread, gift wrap, notecards, and ribbon are on the pegboard, as well as too many scissors!  The next project is reupholstering the sewing chair.

The computer zone ...

Here is the "before" shot.  It was difficult to find the supplies I needed to get anything done.

I just finished my bench to coordinate with the bar posted a few years back.  The bench took 2 years Smiley  Glad to be done with it!!!

The second one is very creative, and I can see you wearing it to school, shopping, out, etc.  Nice job!
