21  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Opinions on Website & Item Prices on: April 27, 2013 01:37:43 PM
I agree with the song issue.  Maybe even have it there, just not play automatically when the site is opened.  Give them the option to press play.

Other than that I feel like this site flows really well.  And the color scheme is great. It really makes all of your items pop.

Those mason jars are so cute, that's a great idea!

I like to keep it short and easy to remember.  Something catchy and something that just sticks in your head and rolls of your tongue.

Encanto is good for that!
23  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: What would you use to paint or decorate a stapler and tape dispenser? on: April 23, 2013 01:51:42 AM
Maybe some stickers or stencils, and spray paint.

When in doubt: glitter.  that's my motto.
24  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Food safe glass sealer on: April 23, 2013 01:49:37 AM
I was trying to search for this, and I've seen a lot of different information.  Hopefully this wasn't posted/asked recently.

I'm decoupaging some clear glass plates, and the images and glue will be on the back side, But I would like the plates to be able to be used for all occasions.  I know if the glue is on the back side it is most likely fine to be eaten off of, but does anyone have any recommendations for which sealer is works the best and will stay sealed after numerous washes. Obviously just a hand wash.

Any information or tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

i REALLY need to try this.  I have more rings than earrings though, I'll need to come up with some kind of alternate display in a frame.

This is a great idea!
27  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / New Website/Blog/My hub on: April 23, 2013 01:37:58 AM
I finally finished editing my website, to get it looking the way I want.  And my content is a little slim pickin's right now, Ive been very busy. But I was curious what everyone thought, I would love constructive criticism.

Some tutorials I have lined up: t-shirt dress for plus size ladies. decoupage plates. stamping/diy screen printing etc.

Most of which have been done, but I like to get my ideas out there.

My etsy page is probably a bit of a mess right now, just ignore that.  eek.

These are great!  I love doodling and creating my own little army of creatures and characters.
29  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Random things make me giddy on: April 23, 2013 01:26:17 AM
I recently visited an old abandoned trailer park, much of which has been completely picked over.  Its mostly great for photo op's, BUT I still found plenty of small metal parts, or or plastic parts, which mostly was trash, but I couldnt help scooping some of it up.  Just have to be careful I don't start a "hoarding" habit.  :p
