41  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / What should I do with these...Didn't work as planned!?!? on: May 30, 2005 07:09:02 AM
Huh   These were just regular AOL cds...so I baked them!!!

Cds on non-stick Reynolds wrap for baking

Cds after baking

I meant to bake them and then I assumed they would turn out flat...it didn't happen though...they also didn't turn completely bubbly like Altered Angels' candle holder did  Sad  but 1 got bubbly and the other got kind of bubbly but mostly wrinkly. They are still cool though. If they had turned out flat i would have glued the label sides together and hung from my ceiling. (a lot of them)  My question is since they didn't turn out flat what should I do?
42  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Sewing Machine plz help on: May 27, 2005 06:22:19 PM
I seriously can't decide where to post this... Huh   If it's in the wrong place just tell me where it should go....I'll move it

Okay here is my question: what kind of sewing machine should I get? I would only use it for reconstructing clothes mostly. So it doesn't have to be all that great. It needs to be cheap (not to someone with a salary...to a 13 year old) and pretty easy to use but my mom and grandma are great sewer and could help me...and it needs to work well.

So should I buy used...what brand? should I look at garage sales? What kind of settings would I need... What are good prices...please hurry I'm desperate lol...I'm so tired of trying to learn to hand-sew!

THANK YOU Cheesy
