1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Please help me find a toy pattern for injured girl... on: May 07, 2005 11:35:31 AM
A sweet little girl that our family knows had a terrible accident last night...fell out of an upstairs window and landed on concrete.  Luckily nothing broken but lots of cuts, bruises and pain.  She is four years old and I would really like to make her something special.  I have seen knitted bunnies and bears but don't know where any patterns are and if they are even something I could make.  I'm pretty new to knitting...so please keep that in mind if you know of a pattern.

I appreciate any pattern suggestions...thank you!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Apron top and soaker shorts for my baby! on: May 03, 2005 08:47:49 PM
I am very new to knitting and just wanted to share two things I knit for my daughter.  The apron top is from www.littleturtleknits.com and the shorts are from the Tiny Bird's pattern (don't have the link offhand).  I totally did the apron top wrong (it was my second knitting project) but it still turned out okay.  Here is a pic of my baby girl modeling her first mommy-made outfit!   Grin  Thanks for letting me share!
