A sweet little girl that our family knows had a terrible accident last night...fell out of an upstairs window and landed on concrete.  Luckily nothing broken but lots of cuts, bruises and pain.  She is four years old and I would really like to make her something special.  I have seen knitted bunnies and bears but don't know where any patterns are and if they are even something I could make.  I'm pretty new to knitting...so please keep that in mind if you know of a pattern. 

I appreciate any pattern suggestions...thank you!

Oh I LOVE the baby booties!  I just got SnB from the library but I don't remember seeing that pattern in there.  Will have to go look through it again!   

Oh my little girl would love a bunny like that!!  Do you think it's a pattern suitable for a beginner?  I don't want to bite off more than I can chew...especially since I have a nice little list of things I want to knit.
