Those are lovely. I love the idea of putting them out with an email address on.

Are the little frames bought or are they upcycled from something else?

I agree with the others, the first one is terrific. I've never screen printed onto fabric - really inspiring.

Like this a lot  Smiley - I don't tend to associate acrylic with that kind of transparency. Lovely.

Just astonishing. I would love to see this in the flesh (or rather felt!).

I like the colours very much. I havent come across that pattern, I shall have to look it up, it is very effective. I like the little quilt too!

Love this. I would have thought denim would be too heavy.

Amazing use of colour, I might have to try a log cabin quilt now!

 Cheesy Yes, deliberate sideburns!

I can't remember if it says on the youtube video but we had to base our puppet shows on real things that happened on a drawing trip to Seville. Hence the toreador etc.

It was an awful lot of work to do in three weeks! I panicked to start with because I've never been comfortable with working in 3D - for illustrations I mostly work either with linocuts or digitally reworked drawings, and other than that I tend to work with basically flat projects like quilting. So it was a real challenge for me.

I am studying illustration and we were set a brief that involved making a puppet theatre. I decided to make the two human puppets by needlefelting. They don't have an armature, just external sticks and wires to move them - we only had three weeks and that included story, sound track, theatre, puppets, set and script!

This is Chris (our tutor), complete with his trademark braces, earring and flat cap

And this is Anastasia (one of the other students)

And here is the actual show in all it's wobbly glory!

Hope you like.
