On June the 1st, another person and I worked out a personal craft swap; my vial necklace and some origami earrings for some hama/perler bead jewelry and crochet pokeball. I sent my items on may 13th and on May 31 the other girl told me that it arrived and she's happy with it...She said that once the American summer holiday begun she'd send her items due to exams, so I have waited patiently for about two months because I'd forgotten that the american holiday starts before mine in the UK. My item still hasn't arrived, I was needing the jewelry for the Summer hols and I've contacted the user 3 times over the past week with no reply...well, I just noticed that she was last seen on on the 20th, does anyone know what I should do to approach her about how unhappy I am with the situation? :/
This is why I prefer swaps over Etsy. People are more professional and efficient there.
BlueCherryFaerie- I can't wait to try those out! I love the idea of pixie dust, venom, blood and even the more creepy ones! I've put in an order for more bottles, so as soon as they arrive I'll have a field day!!!
I've never heard of using lubricant in crafting- but it seems to work! She says it's been in there well over a year and it hasn't degraded or had any negative effects, so it must work. Don't think I'll be going around buying some though!
Angry pixie in a jar- someone should do that, except in one of those mason jars!
Those specimen jars are great! How did you manage to make them?
I'll try the glycerin and water- does tap water work, or does only distilled water work? I've never heard of dippity do, it sounds like an American thing and I'm in the UK!
I think I'm going to try Zap-A-Gap, mostly because it's cheaper than e6000, and apparently works better on polymer clay (which is my main craft) and I'll probably use the glue I still have for the bottles. Thanks fo the glue info though, you seem to be an expert!
