;Dyou need like 70cm (28 in) of a more or less one inch wide ribbon, a couble of nice big bead, some thick thread, and some regular thread



make a a bundle with the thick thread and tie them toegheter, then saw the two endings of the ribbon and tie the bundle to them

then slide the beads onto the ribbon...


and voila! you got yourself a pretty bookmarker...




I made this for my grandmas as a christmas gift...

just get some plain courtains, and embroid trhe beads in the lower part... turns put quite nice... and gives the courtains a nice heavy fall...
