1  Bags and pouches galore (img heavy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Timian on: August 07, 2015 04:57:54 AM
hey

I made this drawstring bag a few days ago, really ahpyp with how it turned out. outside fabric is Retro Rocket Rascels in multi by michael miller.

Also made this vinyl pouch recently for contacts lenses and lip balm to be in the car. various fabrics, some from Lecien.

Another drawstring pouch, for stuff like deodorants. In a double gauze fabric by cosmo textiles called "squid, octopus and jellyfish"

Very tiny pouch just big enough to fit a row of 4 contactlense-thingies in height and width and four rows in the height.

really sturdy pouch, really like the closure made the same day as the previous pouch.

thanks for reading Smiley

2  NES controller pillow in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Timian on: May 16, 2012 09:29:49 AM
I'm sure it has already been done, but a week ago i decided to make a NES controller pillow.
Also this is the first thing i post here.

Which I started on that same evening. Cut out all the small piece. With some iron transfer glue stuff, I placed them right onto the black area. Then I embrioded (if I can even call it that) the text such as the Nintendo trademark. Then I stiched the small button/detail pieces in the edges so they wouldn't come off. Then I sewed the black area onto some grey fabric. Then I made it like a uh.. dimensional pillow, 6 sides. I also stuffed it of course.

Except everything didn't go as smooth as that.
Its has the measurements of the original controller, just 4 times bigger.

I'm so very proud. Anyone made anything similar lately?  Smiley
