1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Hand sewing without patterns... on: April 26, 2013 11:57:42 PM
So I can't use a pattern to save my life... it ends up a big ol mess. I have to see something along the lines of what I am hoping to create (in it's finished form). I also prefer to hand sew over using a machine (mind you, the only machine I've gotten the joy of using has been a 70's model Kenmore that my mom got when she graduated from highschool...) Does anyone else find themselves sewing this way? If so what tricks have you learned to make things a bit easier?
