Would I be dating myself if I admitted that the second dress is made from the same design of sheets I used to own in the 70's? My parents let me paint that same design on my closet doors, so I had the cool room.

I think I like the dress version better.

I make tinctures and extracts from various herbs and I wouldn't recommend using more expensive vodka or a flavored vodka. The only important feature is the proof and you don't want any additives interfering with your tincture. If you want more extraction, you could use everclear but if you are getting the flavor you want you probably don't need to. 

I love these! most of my shirts sweaters have hoods.
