1  Shoulder bag from upholstery fabric samples in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Every Tower on: April 18, 2012 03:09:01 AM
I made this bag to put a present in, and it can be reused as a knitting project bag (or simple shoulder bag). It is made from two rectangles of upholstery fabric that came from a sample book, and an embroidered band I bought in a market in Ecuador.

There's a little more detail on my blog.

2  Our new snazzy nappy bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Every Tower on: April 07, 2012 11:30:52 AM
Here's the fab new nappy change bag I made for and my son (and husband). It's made from a pattern by sa Sandblad.

I'm really happy with it, but it's not waterproof. Does anyone know if there are any sprays I can use on normal quilt fabric, to make it more water resistant?

There's a longer description of the features on my blog: http://everytower.blogspot.se/2012/03/new-baby-change-bag.html

3  Fabric activity square for a toddler in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Every Tower on: April 06, 2012 03:00:41 PM
This is an activity square I made for my nephew (15 months). It has a zip, some rings on elastic, some texture ropes and a couple of buckles.

I think the buckles are too strong for him, which is a shame. Next time, they should be smaller and weaker, for little hands...

4  Handmade fabric Aeroplane Activity Table in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Every Tower on: April 06, 2012 02:34:46 PM
This is an aeroplane activity table that I made for my one year old son. It fits over the plane tray table and is held tight with velcro straps. He can pull all the bits really hard without us losing anything!  I can report that it had a little room to spare on an SAS flight, and was a tight fit (both width and getting the table down in front of him on my lap) on BA.

There's more info including pictures and an explanation on how I made some of the parts on my blog: everytower.blogspot.se/2012/03/aeroplane-activity-centre.html?m=1
