I love the bright colors and the shape of this coin pouch. You even lined it !! Lining it is a good idea and it will provide you with many years of use & enjoyment. The colors are So bright & cheerful.
Are you keeping this yourself or did you make it for someone special?
Also, about how big is it - i.e., what are the dimensions?
Welcome to craftster. Your bags are wonderful. I can imagine how excited your 10yr old is to have her one of her mom's first bags. What a treasure!
The second bag is beautiful. I love that fabric. Iron on interfacing often wrinkles and appears as an 'orange peel' bumpy look. I've gone to sew in interfacing and IF I use iron on interfacing I use 'shirt tailor'. It seems to work better for me.
Your choices in fabric is awesome and your work is exquisite. I can see where you would get all kinds of compliments on this purse. Haven't tried the divider yet, so don't have any tips to share with you. But I thought yours looked pretty good.
How in the world did you sew that stuff and make it come out looking so perfect? This is a cute bag. But I can't imagine sewing an entire bag out of naugahyde. I always think of it as being hard to work with.
Thank You ! for a beautifully illustrated and clearly written tutorial. You do fabulous work. I've always wanted a patchwork bag and I'm feeling confident enough to give it a try - thanks to this tutorial.
