41  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: January 2010 Birthday Swap Gallery/Discussion on: February 04, 2010 07:08:13 PM
Yay! I'm glad it arrived safely.
I took some pics before I sent it out Smiley

The green fabric is actually upcycled from this skirt. It wasn't too pretty as a skirt but I loved the embroidery and the beads! Since you wanted a roll to take with you on camping trips, I thought the nice green and flowery embroidery was really nice:

here it is again, opened, along with some stitch markers I hope you'll enjoy that I received in another swap (I don't knit much anymore)

some detailing on the inside:

and rolled up:

I was quite happy with how it turned out.
Hope you enjoy the dyes!

Hi, my name is Paulina! I've recently turned 20 on January 23rd. Im currently in school studying Visual Arts, and also working towards my education degree so I can be a Highschool Teacher. I always look on the brightside of things, and I am completely indecisive about everything. Im really easy going, and appreciate the little things in life. Dr.Suess is my inspiration, and I find giraffes to be intriguing animals.

panda, pigs, unicorns, giraffes, zebras, fantasy, medieval, Disney, Dr.Seuss, purples, blues, grays, visual arts, being a teacher, teaching, learning, traveling, cutesy, Avatar-movie, environmental activist, giving back to the community, being positive

I was worried I wouldn't get approved in time!  Wink
I'm going to REALLY try to get it out asap to make your deadline >_<!

I claim iheartzb for BIG WISH - A custom painting of my dog (pictured in my profile pic!). Here is a link to an Etsy image along the lines of what I am looking for. Either real life color or colorful like this would be fine. My hubby's b-day is the 21st, so I would love to have something by that date if at all possible.
