Is (dried) watercolor supposed to feel chalky? If it is, I'm doing ok. If not, I need to re-consider
(and any ideas about why it's chalky would be greatly appreciated
what type of water colour paints are you using? (from tube, the pencil, the dried circle ones in a plastic palette)
water colour is very thin and translucent and you should be able to see the paper/ layers under it.
soo, im not quite sure what you mean but- with tubed watercolours its really easy to use too much paint, n not enough water (making it feel/look like acrylics). if its too much paint, it might give a chalky effect?
chalky doesnt have to be a bad thing, if thats what you're going for
& i sent out yesterday! i think its the first time i've sent out so early!!
cant wait till 'thatkid' receives... she wanted me to stick to the theme of bright/fun, i think she'll love what i made!
it was actually really hard for me to let go of my pages, i really liked how they turned out.. i already want a round 2 LOL!
