1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Hand Knotted Christmas Bracelet on: July 17, 2012 01:13:30 PM
I know it's almost 7 months late, but I made this bracelet for my little sister and decided earlier today to post it. I used the knotting design of a friendship bracelet. I've been dabbling in jewelry making for two years off and on. And I'm so happy because my little sister had decided to begin making bracelets as  well. YAY!!!

I welcome any feedback. Especially on how to teach my sister lol.  Wink
2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Rainbow Nails: Simple, Quick, and Perfect for Parties on: July 11, 2012 02:28:52 PM
I was trying to come up with party ideas (my dad owns a yogurt shop and wants to start hosting birthday parties) and I remembered I paint nails every year at my school's fall festival. So I asked my little sisters about some themes they would like and we came up with this:

I used Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat for my base and Sally Hansen No Chip Acrylic Top Coat for my top coat.

Colour: Vermillion by China Glaze

Colour: Mixture of Vermillion by China Glaze and BCC 587 by L.A. Colors Color Craze

Colour: Manila by American Apparel Nail Lacquer

Colour: Lickety-Split Lime by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

Colour: Blue Me Away by Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear

P.S. I only mixed my orange because the one I had originally decided to use was to close to the yellow for my taste.

I hope you enjoy!

P.S.S. This is my first post and I'll take any suggestions for the future.
P.S.S.S. I'll add the pictures to the post when I post 8 more times.  Cheesy
