1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Garden hose vase, has any one tried ?? on: March 20, 2004 03:20:01 PM
I got an idea a couple weeks ago & was playing around & didn't get it to work. I asked a few differnt people here & on 1 other board for suggestions... one sent me this:

http://www.objectsofdesire.de/objects_e.html

it's #32  on the little blocks it's 2 from the left & 7 down

& I THOUGHT I had such an original idea... drat!
LOL   Wink

Has anyone had any luck with this project? I got some very cool hose & really want this to work. I wanted to do this for my swap project, but it wasn't working so made something else.  I can't get the "vase" to stand up.  When I first started I was only using one clamp, I tried today with 2 clamps & anywhere form 1 to 5 hoses folded in half...it just can't get it to stay up.  Thanks for any suggestions!!

My boss sent me to Office Max the other day & I splurged on some stuff for myself too.  =)

I got a pack of Sharpies, I think 15 ... all diff colors they have some great colors now! Teal, fushia, & gold. Also got a 50 pack of colored pencils ... I'm gonna use both of these on shrink paper to make pendants.
I also got a pac of glue sticks... I havn't bought glue sticks in forever... I don't remember them being so soft... are they suposed to be very very soft? they are about the constitence of cool, not cold butter.   they re a pale purple which is cool & that disappers... but what about the consistaency is that rihgt??

Thanks
