i'm happy to say that i was part of the mod squad for so many years and that chase got to be one of the awesome craftster mod squad babies and that i got to par take in a meet up and have the wonderful experience in meeting you!! i hope you get to do everything you haven't had the time to do the past few years!!!

just popping in real quick to thank leighi123 for Chase's adorable new onesies! Everything fits him perfectly! (Don't mind his sad/sicky look in the pix above, he's a bit sick right now!)

My "cousin" had her baby shower this past Saturday and my sister was supposed to make the cake but ended up getting a cold right before so my mom asked me if I could do it.

I was going to try fondant, but decided that it was probably too big of a task for me to learn the day before I needed to have it done!

So here's what I came up with:

3 layers, chocolate-vanilla-chocolate
In between it is filled with yummy raspberry preserves
I dyed the frosting and vanilla cake a light blue

I used candy chocolate to draw the circles and pregnant momma, then covered the top edges and sides with chocolate sprinkles.

On the very bottom, I used a cute ribbon in blues and brown

  For half a second, I thought your windows were built-in aquariums!  The blue hue outside looks like water! and even though I saw the "before" pics, the windows didn't really stand out to me. 

Haha glad I wasn't the only one!! I was like "Whoa, nice big fish tank!" and realized it was the window haha
