Okay, so it's been a stressful month for me. I've been crocheting prom garters for the local high school's senior prom. During one of the more hectic moments of this endeavor, I sent my mother to pick up some more of the yarn I needed. ( size 10 crochet cotton) Alas, my mother does not take her crochet as seriously as I do,and thought that the nylon size 18 was similar enough. I had to go out and get the right yarn myself, and the store refused to take back the other yarn, even though it was still in its packaging. Now I have 2 balls of black size 18 crochet nylon that I have no idea what to do with. I can't find a pattern that calls for it, I can't think of anything I would use it for, and it's taking up space. I really need to do something with it. Any suggestions? Links to patterns would be greatly appreciated!
I suppose I've lurked the boards long enough, and it's time to get around to posting something I've done. I worked up this fancy little shawl/wrap thing in a couple of days, and I'm proud of it regardless. I would love some feedback, though!
