1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Pre-quilted fabric for purse -- do I use lining? Confused. on: March 19, 2012 04:41:11 PM
I'm making a Vera-esque tote for someone right now, and I'm struggling to decide whether to make a lining. I'm using some pre-quilted (reversible) fabric, which I've never worked with before. She wants interior pockets, which I usually sew into my linings. How do I sew interior pockets without the stitches showing on the outside? Should I make a "lining" out of the pre-quilted fabric? It would definitely be strong, which my customer requested. (This bag will be her daughter's school bag.) Thanks for any advice!
