11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / How To Make Hair Clips With Foam Sheets on: June 25, 2013 08:04:04 AM
Holiday and Seasonal Hair Clips

I will show you how to make easy holiday hair clips out of foam sheets. They are super cute and very easy to make. I made peppermint candy hair clips for Christmas, hearts for Valentine's day, and stars for 4th of July. I also made birdhouses with birds, and daisies with lady bugs. I really enjoyed making these. I provide a picture link to my pattern so you can print it off if you would like to use my pattern. The possibilities are endless with this idea. You can use your imagination to make so many different kinds of hair clips. I hope you have fun creating your own.

Legend of Zelda Shield or Medieval Shield Tutorial

My son made this project up and wanted to make a video on how to do it so others can make one too. They are made out of cardboard and paint so they cost next to nothing to make. My twins show you step by step how to paint the cardboard to make it look like wood. They also gave the shields a 3D look. It is super cool and I love it when they come up with great summer projects like this. It would also be great for a Halloween costume.

I have two videos on my channel that may be able to help you. I guess there are many ways to wrap a stone. There are so many things we can do with a wrapped stone too. I love doing macrame wrapped stones. It has become one of my favorite crafts.  Grin  I am new here and I can totally understand your intimidation. I am still trying to learn my way around. It is nice to meet you.

Here is my first video on how to do it:

Here are a lot of ideas that I came up with to use my wrapped stones. Like making wind chimes and earrings. Even wrapped shells and coins.
