I want to make a few steciled shirts with a Donnie Darko theme.  I really like this image but I'm afraid it just won't turn out right..any advice before I give it a go?

 

No, I don't have anything better to do at 2:30 in the morning!! (well besides sleep..)

I have no idea if these will be good stencil material..I just started thinking about stenciling tonight and have been playing  around in Photoshop. I know the backgrounds should be taken out, but my mouse sucks for that type of stuff..

Wow!! Everything is sooo amazing!!  My son loves it all, even the stuff for his baby brother-to-be!!

     

Ok, so my husband and I are avid RPGers (yep D&D and stuff).  So I embroidered a 20-side die on the pocket of one his shirts.  As I am a major dork, my next plan is to embroider a beholder on my dice bag

I made this one a few weeks ago, and my son loves it! Sorry about the blur, bu  he never keeps still and he refuses to take the shirt off so I can get a good close-up- but you can get the idea..

Ok I finally able to get my digital pic on my computer..so here is my first Jordy bag!

I accidentally made the liner inside out the first time, so I went back and redid it..

I lined it with really stiff interfacing since the fabric I used was really thin.


Pretty lime green spring bag!....

I am very attached to that Frankenstein fabric..I bought it on clearance for a $1 a yard to use as curtains in my first apartment, and its has been used for everything from a tablecloth to a couch cover.. Here it is 7 years later lining a bag...

miss_katonic - i'm also due in october, and i am quite jealous that you are only just now having your cloths get tight; my regular cloths stopped fitting well at the beginning of month 3 . . .

Er.. Don't be so jealous, I have days where I puke up everything I eat...it is no fun at all ....I never thought I'd be mad about losing weight, but in this case..its not good!!   Morning sickness is no fun(well in my case it's more like evening sickness...)  I've been feeling a bit better lately so I am hoping I can starting eating alot to make up for lost time!!

Anyway, I love this skirt idea and can't wait to go out and get the fabric to make my own!!  I love weariing skirts in the spring and summer!
