I found a cute little purse that says it uses Moss stitch...I tried what I think is moss stitch and it just doesn't look like the picture of this purse....can someone clarify....

I am a new knitter...I would like to make something cool to wear...I am pregnant though so it will have to be something I could still wear...like a poncho or something like that.  I have four things of Lions Brand Landscapes yarn.  What would be something super simple to knit up?

I am knitting in the round and made a mistake...maybe dropped a stitch?  Anyone care to take a look and help me out?  I don't want to have to rip out a whole row to go back.



The second picture is the side I am working on...I am purling that side.  The first picture is the other side.

How do I start a new ball of yarn?  Just tie the two ends together and then later weave the loose ends in?Huh

I saw some Thick and Thin yarn being clearanced out at JoAnn's but of course they were already out of the one I would have wanted....this great fall mix of dark green, orange, etc.  Well anywho anyone know of what company might have made this thick and thin yarn?  I want to try and find it online
