1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Sleep is Practice on: August 22, 2012 04:31:49 PM
This is based on an original drawing I did a few months ago. All I can say about this piece is that people either find it amusing or off-putting. You decide!

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Hoops, hoops, hoops! on: May 24, 2012 09:06:00 PM
That moon and mountains hoop takes the cake! Buttons for craters is a fantastic idea. You are a super thoughtful swapper.
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Wellingtons on: May 17, 2012 10:38:23 AM
It's the Duke of Wellington, wearing Wellingtons and holding a Beef Wellington. What more could you ask for?

I'm proud of the braid stitching on the collar and cuffs, although the Beef Wellington could look a bit more like Beef Wellington...

5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Mononoke & Calcifer Hoops! on: March 13, 2012 08:49:58 AM
These are so cool! I love Studio Ghibli as well, and these are spot on! Your Calcifer is adorable!
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / The Articulated Giraffe on: March 11, 2012 04:46:13 PM
The articulated giraffe is a rare genetic mutation among Giraffa camelopardalis.
It is believed that the flexibility of the neck allows the articulated giraffe to reach leaves closer to the center of the tree.

Whether or not this mutation will become standard among future generations of giraffes is yet to be seen.

This piece is in a 7" hoop. It is my very first hoop project!
