This is based on an original drawing I did a few months ago. All I can say about this piece is that people either find it amusing or off-putting. You decide!

It's the Duke of Wellington, wearing Wellingtons and holding a Beef Wellington. What more could you ask for?



I'm proud of the braid stitching on the collar and cuffs, although the Beef Wellington could look a bit more like Beef Wellington...

The articulated giraffe is a rare genetic mutation among Giraffa camelopardalis.
It is believed that the flexibility of the neck allows the articulated giraffe to reach leaves closer to the center of the tree.



Whether or not this mutation will become standard among future generations of giraffes is yet to be seen.







This piece is in a 7" hoop. It is my very first hoop project!
