1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Table runner on: June 22, 2006 11:15:58 AM
I made this table runner for my mother's birthday. She picked the fabric a while back but does not know that I used it for a tablerunner for her. Hope she doesn't read this board!

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Table runner 3 on: April 02, 2006 12:04:49 PM
Here is another tablerunner. I finally got a walkingfoot for my machine (didn't realize how cheap they were so I kept putting it off). I still got some bunching that was bad but overall I loved machine quilting. Here is my latest tablerunner.

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Another finished table runner on: February 08, 2006 08:05:05 PM
Here is another one I was working on. This is done with all cotton fabric and batting. My mom helped me pick out the fabric so that I didn't stick to the same old color schemes and tried something different. I love how the colors came out. It will be a great fall tablerunner. I got the pattern at this wonderful site http://www.kristinlaflamme.com/patterns_files/Page667.htm

This one is hand quilted.

4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / New Table Runner on: February 07, 2006 08:10:37 PM
I finished this table runner tonight and LOVE how it came out. I have decided to sell it though. Thought I would share the pictures first. Hope everyone likes it! Kindof a simple design but I like simple.

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Small Purple Purse on: February 05, 2006 11:45:50 AM
I love this fabric and make this same style purse to carry all the time. The lining is a coordinating sage green color fabric. Both are very thick fabrics. Hope you like it!

6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Snowman Wallhanging on: December 20, 2005 07:59:12 PM
I made these wallhangings for Christmas presents. I got the idea for the pattern out of a photo in a quilting magazine from 1995. I dont remember the name of the magazine or what the shop name was that this quilt was in a photograph for. I tried to find the pattern online to pay for it on that shops website but they didn't have it anymore. Soooooo I just did it how I thought it would work.

7  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / First skein of wool on my CD spindle on: May 07, 2005 10:31:10 PM
I have been lurking on craftster for a while but tonight I happened across this board and it inspired me to finish plying my wool of my cd spindle. Bare with me, I dont know the terms or the names of the gadgets. I thought I would post a picture of the wool. I used a CD spindle then took it off onto some little gadget my grandpa made me that aloud me to double ply the one strand (I think some people use their hands to do this but when I tried my finger turned purple before I aborted that method).

This wool is some my father bought my mother for Christmas. There was 10 lbs of it so she sent it off to have it washed and when she got it back we were both a little overwhelmed at the size of the bag. In the end I got lucky and got a bunch of this nice roving. I can experiment now. I'm very new to spinning though (I happened across a free ashford wheel but still feel a little overwhelmed by it so I'm still working with the drop spindles.)

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / First Purses - Been lurking - picture heavy on: May 02, 2005 09:14:35 PM
Here are some bags I have made. Not sure what I'm going to do cause I'm addicted and my husband is already commenting on how I have too many.

Thats the first. I sewed up the sides so that it stays more closed. Then added snaps

This one has already been given to a friend. Hope she liked it.

and the last, my favorite. Its just a pack to carry on the wrist. It has a few pockets inside for cards. Figure it would be good for friends when they go out because it would be easy for them to attach to themselves.

I'm new to this so I hope you like them!
