We made this during this  past weekend. My dad found it on Fark.com which had it linked from the same place. It's actaully not horrible. Tastes kinda like carmel but then you get the beer/malt taste after. Different. I made fun of him for trying but we had fun. I told one friend what we did and she called it "disgusting enought to be fabulous!"

How neat. I went ahead and tried it as a potholder. I got the points a little off from each other so I will have to watch that the next time. I was just starting to make a bunch of potholders yesterday because I have a 12 hour car ride tomorrow and I can quilt them on the car ride so here is the star as a potholder.

I made these wallhangings for Christmas presents. I got the idea for the pattern out of a photo in a quilting magazine from 1995. I dont remember the name of the magazine or what the shop name was that this quilt was in a photograph for. I tried to find the pattern online to pay for it on that shops website but they didn't have it anymore. Soooooo I just did it how I thought it would work.

I had the same problem. I am not sure where you are or whats normally in bloom in september but I went to a local greenhouse and bought pottted plants that were blooming (the day before the wedding cause I can kill plants) and then I bought fabric out of the sale section of a fabric store and covered the pots with that. It cost about $80 to decorate about 20 tables and have a few scattered throughout the reception hall. My guests then had the option of taking home the potted plants.

I made a shirt from this pattern that turned out nice, not as nice as yours by far though!!!! I really like your verision. This is why I like craftster. I would have never thought of doing the lace.

I found the instructions a little confusing around the shoulders. I did a search on patternreview and they had the same problem. Also the instructions never direct you to sew up the side seams. I could figure that out fine though. I do like the final product but be ready to curse the shoulders (although maybe it was my lack of pattern experience!)
