These are very pretty. I am drawn to blue and white quilts. Both are beautiful!
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Table runner on: June 22, 2006 11:15:58 AM
I made this table runner for my mother's birthday. She picked the fabric a while back but does not know that I used it for a tablerunner for her. Hope she doesn't read this board!

Here is another tablerunner. I finally got a walkingfoot for my machine (didn't realize how cheap they were so I kept putting it off). I still got some bunching that was bad but overall I loved machine quilting. Here is my latest tablerunner.

Well its been about 6 years since I lived in the dorm but I think I could fit mine in my room (wish I had brought it!) We could loft our beds so my roommate and I stored a lot of stuff under the one bed that we lofted. And you will be stuck with a desk for each person in your room so if you have a laptop then you can use the desk for your machine. I think its doable and if having it here will make your stress less and you happier I say definately bring it. You will definately find a place for it. Theres two fabric stores that would be walkable from the PRT too.

Why can't you bring your sewing machine with you? Its a great study break?

Here is another one I was working on. This is done with all cotton fabric and batting. My mom helped me pick out the fabric so that I didn't stick to the same old color schemes and tried something different. I love how the colors came out. It will be a great fall tablerunner. I got the pattern at this wonderful site http://www.kristinlaflamme.com/patterns_files/Page667.htm

This one is hand quilted.

I finished this table runner tonight and LOVE how it came out. I have decided to sell it though. Thought I would share the pictures first. Hope everyone likes it! Kindof a simple design but I like simple.

I love this fabric and make this same style purse to carry all the time. The lining is a coordinating sage green color fabric. Both are very thick fabrics. Hope you like it!
