2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / MacBook Bag and Cat Butts on: November 21, 2009 08:53:41 PM
Sorry about the cat butts in the pics, they are camera sluts.  Anywho, made this for my MacBook, it has foam between the lining and outer material, a hidden lined zipper pocket, a secret inside pocket, and a "paper pocket" on the back side.  Super easy, took about an hour and fits what I wanted more than anything in the stores.

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / My New Pantry on: September 22, 2009 08:06:06 PM
My house was built in the late 1800's and the original pantry was taken up with the air return vent and unit when central air was installed.  What I was left with was a wall that was about 15 inches from a doorway.  That's not enough room for much but I decided to make myself a little open pantry.  I wanted it to look like it had always been there so I added moulding that matches the rest of the house.  No before pics but here are some of the process and finished pantry.

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Pink Stripe to Spiff Up Ceiling on: September 05, 2009 09:05:35 PM
So my home office needed a little "something" and it came in the form of a pink stripe around the ceiling.  All I did was tape it off and paint it in.  I suggest ripping off the tape before the final coat is dry as once it dries, the paint forms a seal over the tape and you will likely rip off paint with the tape.
