Not sure if I'm adding this update properly Undecided
To save on money I'm using a 3 ring binder that I had laying around and copy paper pages.  I am also putting my cut out applique pieces in zipper baggies for ease of use in the future.  So far I've done a Japanese inspired deer.

6  Peach Ruffles Zipper Pouch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Hazelhoneylove on: July 31, 2012 12:37:31 PM

I've been wanting to make a gathered bag like this for awhile.  The gathers took a bit of time to build baste then machine stitch onto the bag.  If I had a gathering foot for my machine it may be a little easier.  I'm hoping to make a few more In other colors!

7  Re: I <3 Gibbous Altered Fashions sew-along! in Clothing Sewalongs by Hazelhoneylove on: June 06, 2012 11:13:52 PM

I'll get photo of it on in natural light.  It is gibbous slightly because one arm has serged ruffles the other is raw edged.  Bottom back ruffle is longer on one side than the other.  I also used contrasting white threads and let the tails show

8  Up-cycled orange star baubles embellished envelope organizer in CHALLENGE 73 ENTRIES by Hazelhoneylove on: April 05, 2012 07:37:33 PM

upcycled bobbles by hazelhoney, on Flickr
These orange stars were originally hair ties that the elastic broke on.  They were too cute to throw away so they went in a drawer until inspiration came.  This challenge was perfect.

Completed envelope clutch.  I used a disassembled paper envelope as a template.  I added hand stitched details in tones of orange and sky blue

Opening to item hand stitched (this is were the envelope detail is truly visible.)  Clasp closure keeps bag closed.

9  Challenge 72 entry Headband or Necklace you decide. in CHALLENGE 72 ENTRIES by Hazelhoneylove on: March 08, 2012 11:22:19 AM
This is my first Crafster challenge entry and I'm a newbie.  My opposites attract entry is based on the idea of using 1 item in 2 different ways.  As a headband or as a necklace.  I had fun making this it's all handstitched so I was able to enjoy all my favorite T.V shows while crafting.
