2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Display your family values using a vintage Scrabble game on: March 06, 2012 01:17:31 AM
Hi

I'm new here so I hope I'm doing this right! Over the weekend I made this artwork out of an old Scrabble game to go in the entrance hall of our new home. My husband and I came up with all of the words that describe our family - who we are, and who we want to be. Then we set about trying to make them all fit on the board! It's easy to do and a great way to get kids involved in coming up with a family mission statement or a set of family values. I hope you like it, the details are on my blog here:

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Headboard Made of Pallets on: March 06, 2012 01:04:58 AM
I love this! I made a headboard out of an old Balinese screen that we found on the road http://bornagain-creations.blogspot.com.au/2011/03/2-recycled-screen-headboard.html but I love the rustic look of the pallets.
