This is a cushion/pillow cover using hessian (burlap) from a thrift store, a pair of worn out leather boots, and some coins.

I'm new here so I hope I'm doing this right! Over the weekend I made this artwork out of an old Scrabble game to go in the entrance hall of our new home. My husband and I came up with all of the words that describe our family - who we are, and who we want to be. Then we set about trying to make them all fit on the board! It's easy to do and a great way to get kids involved in coming up with a family mission statement or a set of family values. I hope you like it, the details are on my blog here:
