If there's anything better than coming home from work after a hectic day and finding a swap package in your mailbox, I don't know what it is!

I received my inchies from AmandaBL! w00t!

Here are all of them, neatly displayed...

Along with these inchies, I found this note...

"While I had fun creating these, I have to admit I have finally found a scale that is too small for me to really enjoy working in. I am passing on the remaining background inchies I made. These are watercolor paper that I covered with a mosaic of wet bleeding tissue paper, allowed to dry, then removed the tissue, cut & inked the edges. Hopefully you have a project in the future you can use them on or feel free to pass them along as an extra in another future swap. Thank you for swapping with me & I hope you enjoy these little guys! AmandaBL"

...and here's a better look at the extra backgrounds...they are so pretty just as they are!!

Thanks AmandaBL!!  Grin

I received from karizmatic today!! I am SO excited! This was a great way to end an otherwise crappy week (here's hoping I didn't jinx tomorrow!) Lots of pics below...

Here's the package...my husband was home this morning waiting on the well drilling guy to come over and repair our well cap that the plow guy broke and ripped the wiring out of (this is after getting both of our cars stuck in the drive way...)...anyway, mu hubby retrieved this when it arrived and told me "You got a package in the mail...it's all decorated and has nice handwriting on it!"

The goodies inside!

Here's the collection of yummy-smelling coffee!

Hot cocoa mix!

Some awesome lip balm

An awesome soup mug cozy!

...and a coffee mug cozy!

...But wait! There's more!!

Cute wine bottle labels.

..and these...these are just...wow. I am so excited about these!!!

She made these based off of this pattern - http://www.purlbee.com/the-purl-bee/2010/11/28/a-purl-soho-pattern-loeffler-randall-rain-boot-and-rain-boot.html

Kariz - you are the shiz-nit! Smiley THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I love everything!

I just finished making one of these! Mine is a ghost, and was really cheap and easy to put together!

I used a punch ball balloon as the base, did the paper mache in three layers, then used a white plastic table covering (rectangle, cut in half width-wise) as the covering. Cost me under $3 to make (minus filling it with candy), and took a couple nights to complete. Using the punch ball balloons as the base, you could make a pumpkin/Jack o'Lantern, ghost, spider, bat, cat, etc. Really anything you can think of!
